Tax Prep and E-Filing
Drop off your tax documents, or securely upload your documents, and we will prepare your taxes fast. When your taxes are ready to be picked up, or downloaded and reviewed, we will call or email you.
Fees:
Federal and home state preparation and e-filing by a CPA, only $299. Includes Form 1040, and Schedule A (Itemized Deductions) and Schedule B (Interest and Dividends).
Additional fees apply for multiple state filings, rental properties, investments, and small businesses.
Q: Do I need to upload all my tax documents before you prepare my return?
A: Yes — sending all relevant forms (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, mortgage interest, etc.) before your appointment helps us prepare your return quickly and minimizes delays. Being organized also helps ensure accurate filing and faster refunds.
Q: What happens after my return is e-filed?
A: Once submitted, the IRS acknowledges receipt (usually within 24–48 hours). If accepted, they begin processing. If there’s an error, you’re notified so it can be corrected and resubmitted. E-filing gives you this confirmation much sooner than paper filing.
Q: When can I start filing my tax return each year?
A: Tax professionals can begin preparing returns as soon as the IRS officially opens the filing season, typically in late January. Once the IRS is accepting e-files, we can transmit your return electronically.
Q: Why should I e-file instead of mailing a paper return?
A: E-filing is faster, more secure, and typically results in quicker processing and refunds. The IRS e-file system also checks for common errors before submitting, which reduces processing delays from mistakes.
